2009 Bond Issue
Quality education always has been and must continue to be a priority in Mulvane Schools. The Board of Education has made facilities a top priority by carefully studying needs, options, and available resources in recent months and years. In 2008, a Master Plan Committee spent several months evaluating facilities, educational programs, and the district needs, both for today and the future. An outside consultant also analyzed and made recommendations for improvements. With input from the committee and community study, the Board of Education has scheduled a bond issue election for December 8th, 2009, asking the voters of USD263 to vote on a proposed plan which will make needed capital improvements to district facilities and enhance education for today and the future.
